The Dietary Assistant — PRN role is onsite in Montrose, CO, with compensation of $18.62–$21.03 per hour. The position supports Valley Manor Care Center, a community offering long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and respite care. The schedule varies as needed and may cover day and evening shifts, typically 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. The Dietary Assistant helps provide food service that meets residents’ nutritional and individual needs and complies with applicable regulations. The role supports meal preparation and service, maintains proper cleaning procedures, and reports resident concerns and equipment or supply issues.

What you'll do

• Assist with assigned food preparation, meal service, and cleaning duties according to procedures and direction from the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, management team, or Cook
• report observed resident concerns, supply and equipment needs, damaged or unsafe equipment, and conditions related to insects, rodents, or other vermin.
