What you'll do

• Prepare samples and perform chemical analyses using standard techniques
• evaluate and quantify data
• record and report results and unusual test occurrences
• perform routine instrument maintenance
• maintain training documentation
• complete assigned quality-control samples
• document nonconformances as required
• manage workload using backlog reports
• maintain housekeeping and laboratory supplies
• wash and inventory glassware
• purge analyzed samples
• follow environmental health, safety, and quality assurance standards
• assist in other laboratory areas when needed.
