After-School Program Staff — Glendale USD

The After-School Program Staff role is onsite in Glendale, CA, Monday through Friday for four hours per day, with shifts scheduled between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Pay is $18–$23 per hour. HeyTutor partners with a Glendale school district to support elementary students in grades K–5 after regular school hours. The staff member supervises students and helps provide a safe, structured after-school setting. The role supports homework, tutoring, enrichment activities, attendance, snack time, and organized dismissal while encouraging positive behavior and student engagement.

What you'll do

• Supervise and manage groups of 10–20 students
• maintain a safe and structured environment
• prepare daily activities and materials
• record attendance
• distribute and monitor snacks
• support homework and tutoring using provided curriculum
• facilitate enrichment activities
• coordinate student dismissal with parents or guardians
• student pickup or drop-off at designated school areas may be required.
