The Registered Nurse, Operating Room, Open Heart role is onsite in Boston, MA, at BIDMC. Compensation is not specified. The schedule is either four 10-hour shifts, primarily 6:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m. with rotation to 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., or five 8-hour shifts with rotation to later hours. The role includes one weekend of call per month, short-call shifts, and one night of cardiac or endovascular emergency call per week. The nurse supports operating room care across cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic cases. The role contributes to safe surgical care by circulating in at least three listed specialties and responding to scheduled call coverage.

What you'll do

• Circulate in at least three of the following areas: cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic (robot)
• scrub experience is highly preferred. Participate in the listed schedule and call coverage, including one weekend of call per month, short-call shifts, and one night of cardiac or endovascular emergency call per week. Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS, and ACLS are required.
