The Lead Mold Maintenance Technician / Toolmaker role is onsite in Hickory, NC, with hourly pay of $34–$40 based on experience. ProStaffing is recruiting for an established manufacturing company in the injection molding industry. The role maintains and repairs injection molding and thermoforming molds to help prevent tooling failures and production downtime. By troubleshooting mold issues, maintaining tooling records and inventory, and coordinating with production and engineering, the technician helps keep molds ready for efficient manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair injection molding and thermoforming molds
• perform preventive maintenance
• assist with production troubleshooting
• use standard toolroom equipment
• evaluate mold conditions and communicate repair needs to tooling engineering
• maintain repair records and tooling history
• monitor spare components and inventory
• ensure molds are stored and ready for production
• follow safety procedures and maintain an organized toolroom.
