What you'll do

• Plan and oversee daily and monthly activity calendars
• tailor activities to residents’ interests, abilities, and care plans
• provide social, recreational, educational, cultural, spiritual, physical, and cognitive programming
• coordinate group and individual activities, events, outings, and community activities
• document assessments and participation
• contribute to care plan meetings
• recruit, train, schedule, and supervise activity staff and volunteers as applicable
• coordinate with facility departments
• communicate with residents and families
• maintain activity areas, records, supplies, and budget
• follow safety and infection-control procedures.
