Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job overview

The Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician role is onsite and field-based, based in Rock Hill, South Carolina, with nationwide travel to data center projects and regional client work when home. Pay is $30–$50 per hour, plus travel stipends; a sign-on bonus may be available. The role supports Air National Services’ work on mission-critical data centers and commercial HVAC systems. This technician starts up, commissions, services, and troubleshoots commercial HVAC equipment, helping maintain reliable and energy-efficient systems. The role also supports customers through preventive maintenance, clear service documentation, safety compliance, and occasional mentoring of junior technicians.

What you'll do

• Service, troubleshoot, and optimize commercial HVAC systems
• perform preventive maintenance and startup and commissioning work
• communicate with customers and internal teams
• complete service reports and work orders
• follow safety and regulatory requirements
• participate in the on-call rotation
• travel nationwide to project sites.
