Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job overview

The Electro-Mechanical Technician role is onsite at NSI Industries’ Norridge, Illinois location; compensation is $29–$36 per hour. The position is a full-time first-shift role, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, supporting a manufacturing facility. The technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs to reduce production losses and downtime. The role troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, and robotic systems and works with production personnel to identify equipment failures and corrective actions.

What you'll do

• Complete preventive maintenance
• troubleshoot three-phase electrical systems and resistive heating circuits
• test electrical systems and circuit continuity
• install and replace controls, sensors, and components
• read electrical and mechanical blueprints
• troubleshoot hydraulic, chiller, HVAC, and robotic systems
• replace pumps, motors, gearboxes, and specified shot-end components
• coordinate with production personnel.
