Caregiver – Home Care

Job overview

The Caregiver role is in person in New Lenox, IL. Pay is $19–$20 per hour. Always Best Care Chicagoland provides non-medical home care to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. The caregiver follows each client’s care plan and assists with daily living, mobility, meals, and household tasks. The role supports clients’ ability to remain healthy and safe at home while reporting concerns to the Care Coordinator.

What you'll do

• Provide medication reminders
• assist with mobility and personal care
• help clients complete recommended exercises
• shop with or for clients as needed
• perform light housekeeping and prepare meals
• report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator
• respond responsibly to emergencies
• follow the care plan.
