What you'll do

• Conduct patient and guarantor interviews
• explain consent forms, patient rights, and financial responsibilities
• respond to routine registration inquiries
• obtain and accurately enter demographic and financial information in Cerner
• identify appropriate payer sources
• and obtain required pre-certifications or authorizations. The posting requires advanced knowledge of Medicare and private insurance regulations, medical terminology, and electronic medical records.
