The Afternoon Caregiver — Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities role is onsite in Fort Myers, FL. Compensation is $16 per hour, and the schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 2:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. Community Resource Network of Florida supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in pursuing independence and their preferred lives. The caregiver provides attentive support after bus drop-off, helping the individual with home activities, personal care, meals, safety, and community participation. The role also promotes communication, choice, independence, and socialization and requires daily progress notes.

What you'll do

• Support home activities
• assist with personal hygiene
• prepare meals and do light cleaning
• maintain a safe living environment
• accompany the individual to social events, grocery shopping, and appointments
• promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• complete daily progress notes.
