The Nutrition Ambassador position is onsite in Wenatchee, WA. The posting lists pay of $17.34–$27.30 per hour and variable shifts, generally eight hours (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) with some four-hour shifts (3:00–7:00 p.m.); some weekends and holidays are required. This pool position has no guaranteed hours and reports to the Kitchen Supervisor. The role supports hospital customers with meal selection and helps food production staff assemble accurate, safe, high-quality meals. It contributes to patient safety by applying therapeutic diet standards and communicating food- and nutrition-related concerns to the care team.

What you'll do

• Assist customers with meal orders by phone or at bedside
• use food management software to submit orders consistent with therapeutic diet standards
• guide patients toward foods consistent with prescribed diets
• assemble meal trays to accuracy, safety, and quality standards
• liaise among patients, nutrition personnel, and the healthcare team
• handle food according to applicable standards and guidelines. May perform meal delivery, inventory, food-service equipment operation, and cleaning and sanitizing duties.
