Building Property Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Building Property Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Cleveland, OH, full-time, with an eight-hour shift, Monday–Friday, on-call rotation, and weekends as needed. Compensation is $26–$30 per hour. The role supports Pero Real State LLC/Brick and Mortar Property Management in maintaining safe, clean, and comfortable homes for residents. The technician responds to service requests, diagnoses and repairs building systems, and performs preventive maintenance and apartment turns. Accurate work-order records and courteous resident service help maintain the properties and address issues before they grow.

What you'll do

• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests
• diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, doors, windows, locks, and general building systems
• perform preventive maintenance
• prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• maintain work-order documentation and communicate progress
• participate in the assigned on-call rotation
• identify potential maintenance concerns
• provide courteous and professional service to residents.
