Inside Plant (ISP) Technician

The Inside Plant (ISP) Technician is a nationwide field role based from Houston, TX, with up to 100% travel across the United States. Pay is $25 to $40 per hour, with per diem or other compensation potentially available. The technician supports Pearce’s Energy Services team on data center and critical infrastructure projects. The role exists to install and maintain telecommunications and data center systems at customer sites. It contributes to reliable critical infrastructure by installing cabling, racks, fiber systems, and power infrastructure while following project specifications and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Travel to customer sites nationwide as part of a field installation team
• install, remove, and maintain telecommunications and data center equipment
• measure, label, route, dress, secure, and terminate fiber, copper, and power cabling
• assist with racks, cabinets, cable tray, fiber systems, and AC/DC power infrastructure
• follow drawings, schematics, specifications, and safety procedures
• use tools, ladders, lifts, test equipment, and company vehicles
• maintain safe and organized work areas
• develop additional skills in DC power and critical-power systems.
