Job overview
The Senior HVAC Technician role is onsite in Austin, TX. The stated salary range is $40–$50 per hour. The role supports Aire Serv South Austin’s residential and commercial HVAC service work. The role exists to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, diagnose complex failures, and complete preventive maintenance. The senior technician also mentors junior technicians and communicates system issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
What you'll do
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- diagnose and troubleshoot complex system failures
- perform preventive maintenance inspections and service agreements
- interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- meet codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
- mentor junior technicians
- communicate with customers about issues, repairs, and recommendations.
