The Class A Commercial Driver’s License Instructor role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV, with pay of $28–$30 per hour. 160 Driving Academy is a commercial driver training school that trains students for commercial driver’s license testing. The instructor teaches Class A driving skills in the yard and on the road, guides students through inspections and maneuvers, and tracks progress and training records. The role helps prepare students to meet testing standards and develop safe driving skills; occasional coverage at other regional yards may be requested.

What you'll do

• Teach Class A driving skills on automatic and manual transmissions
• guide students through pre-trip inspections, yard maneuvers, and on-road driving
• prepare students for CDL testing standards
• track attendance and progress
• maintain training records and evaluations
• report incidents and accidents
• coordinate with instructors and the Lead Instructor
• help maintain the yard
• cover nearby regional yards in certain emergencies
• assist with truck transfers.
