The role exists to assist in the operation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of high voltage system protection equipment and schemes. The technician supports the reliability and performance of protection systems in substations, switchyards, and power plants.

What you'll do

• Complete training to maintain and repair system protection equipment.
• Assist in operating and maintaining assigned equipment.
• Test and inspect protective relaying, metering, and SCADA equipment.
• Commission new equipment.
• Complete test forms and reports.
• Maintain assigned vehicles and tools.
