Bystronic Laser Operator

Job overview

The Bystronic Laser Operator role is onsite in Waukegan, IL, with pay of $18–$25 per hour based on experience. Ludlow Manufacturing uses E-Verify to verify eligibility to work in the United States. The operator sets up and runs laser cutting machines, monitors cutting quality and machine performance, and processes parts to print and traveler requirements. Accurate production reporting and safe material handling support customer quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate Bystronic laser cutting machines
• retrieve programs and select gases, nozzles, and materials
• diagnose machine issues
• load and unload materials using lift trucks
• monitor and adjust cutting quality
• perform scheduled operator maintenance
• report production quantities in the ERP system.
