Associate Cybersecurity Engineer — Hybrid

The Associate Cybersecurity Engineer role is hybrid, with work Tuesday through Thursday in Cary, NC. Pay is $50–$60 per hour on a W-2 basis. The engineer monitors and improves network security controls, particularly firewalls and Zscaler, and helps implement configuration changes and respond to security issues. What you'll do

• Monitor and maintain enterprise firewall solutions, including Palo Alto NGFW
• configure Zscaler SASE capabilities
• execute security configuration changes and support triage
• use Microsoft security tools for detection and response
• refine procedures and policies
• analyze security events and recommend remediation
• communicate with cross-functional teams.
