What you'll do

• Code urgent care encounters using internal coding software
• assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and Evaluation and Management codes
• apply coding guidelines and regulatory requirements
• review documentation and request clarification from physicians
• conduct coding audits and quality reviews
• sequence diagnosis and procedure codes
• collaborate with revenue cycle, billing, clinic staff, and providers to resolve issues and improve documentation.
