What you'll do

• Supervise nurses and aides in the long-term care facility
• assist with medication carts
• work with the Director of Nursing and Assistant to implement recommended changes
• monitor residents and report changes to the Director of Nursing
• assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report
• monitor nursing documentation, including MARs, nurses’ notes, incident reports, physician orders, and treatment records
• liaise with nursing staff and attending physicians
• check supplies and equipment.
