The Class A CDL Equipment Operator role is an onsite position based in Hammond, IN. Compensation is $28–$32 per hour, and the role supports the environmental, energy, and industrial services department at Clean Harbors. This role exists to operate a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks and equipment to facilitate hazardous waste clean-up. The operator is responsible for both driving and manual labor tasks, ensuring that all customer needs are met safely and in accordance with regulatory standards. This position requires travel for project work and attendance at a two-week training academy.

What you'll do

• Operate Class A commercial trucks, assist field laborers, perform manual labor on-site, load and unload trucks, maintain daily logs and reports, and ensure proper vehicle placarding and DOT compliance.
