Hearing Screen Technician

The Hearing Screen Technician works onsite at one or more hospital locations in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Perform newborn hearing screens
• educate parents about the relevance of screening and early intervention
• record patient information and screening results
• verify insurance information with parents or guardians
• follow billing, infant identification, security, infection-control, and safety protocols
• recognize potential problems and obtain assistance
• complete required orientation and privacy training
• maintain employee health requirements. Outpatient appointment follow-up, equipment issue follow-up, and training new staff may also be included.
