Job overview

The Restaurant Server position is onsite in Jasper, AL. Pay, inclusive of tips, is up to $12–$15 per hour depending on the day of the week and shift. The role supports Huddle House’s purpose of bringing friends and families together over food served from the heart. The server provides customer and food service by greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, handling payments, and maintaining the assigned serving area. The role contributes to restaurant operations through accurate transactions, timely service, cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork.

What you'll do

• Greet customers
• review the menu and take table orders
• submit tickets to the cook’s station and deliver food promptly
• handle money and process tickets through the POS system
• account for tickets and receipts
• stock and prepare the unit for the next shift
• keep the restaurant clean
• alert managers to safety or service concerns
• follow food-handling and cash-security rules
• control waste and portions.
