Radiology Technologist in Pflugerville, TX. This is an onsite position. Compensation is not specified. This role utilizes x-ray to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment, performing radiographic procedures and taking x-rays according to standards, and providing appropriate patient care.

What you'll do

• Perform all Diagnostic Radiologic Procedures. Demonstrate technique to produce optimal study. Correctly use all equipment in clinical area, including but not limited to: fluoro, c-arm, Tomo, and portable units. Interpret physician orders prior to performing exam to ensure optimal study. Refer technique/study issues to Senior Tech/Radiologist as appropriate. Utilize appropriate markers/ID on each exam. Assist radiologist with procedures. Demonstrate sterile technique as appropriate. Prepare patient for exams. Demonstrate awareness of physician supply preferences and/or uses Radiology preference cards. Verbalize indication for various contrast mediums. Provide patient care throughout procedure. Demonstrate awareness of patient's level of understanding regarding procedure to be performed
• provide information as needed, at appropriate level for patient. Ensure patient safety throughout exam.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.

Experience

Two years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting - preferred.
