It connects estimating with purchasing, the shop, engineering, vendors, clients, and project execution through cost analysis, clarification, change management, and handoff.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed estimates with costs, value-engineering options, material alternatives, risks, and recommendations
• present estimating data to the Senior Estimator and leadership
• review drawings and specifications for manufacturability
• verify material availability and vendor pricing
• coordinate outsourced services
• manage RFIs and change orders
• review shop drawings
• participate in project handoffs
• and maintain organized estimate documentation.
