What you'll do

• Direct and coordinate nursing services and personnel
• develop nursing policies, standards, and plans
• monitor resident care and conduct unit rounds
• review nursing notes and care plans
• coordinate staff schedules, hiring, performance reviews, and training
• manage nursing department budget with the Administrator
• coordinate infection control and other facility services
• ensure physician orders and incident reporting requirements are followed
• participate in committees and resident admission assessments
• remain on call for emergencies 24 hours a day.
