The Traveling Land Surveying Crew Chief role is onsite, based in Lincoln, NE, and pays $28–$44 per hour based on experience, plus $1,190 per week per diem when the five-day work requirement is met; the per diem is prorated otherwise. What you'll do

• Operate GPS, robotic instruments, total stations, and data collectors
• perform as-builts, stakeouts, and control work
• back up and organize field data
• coordinate with office staff
• record field data and crew time
• read construction plans
• map utilities and layouts
• execute client staking requests
• complete truck inspections and safety documentation.
