Equine Coordinator

Job overview

The Equine Coordinator works onsite in Provo, UT, full time. Compensation is $16 per hour. Oxbow Academy provides specialized treatment and uses work with horses and other animals as part of students’ therapeutic process.

What you'll do

• Teach specialized riding skills and proper technique
• support students’ understanding of horse-and-rider relationships
• care for horses and bottle-fed calves
• maintain animal areas and facilities
• administer medications and maintain medical records
• treat animal injuries and illnesses according to equine director or veterinary advice
• arrange routine and emergency veterinary and farrier care
• and maintain feed inventory.
