The Resident Activities Assistant / Recreation Therapy Assistant role is onsite in York, PA. Pay is $13 per hour. The schedule is 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., two to three days per week, with 30 minutes deducted for lunch. The role supports resident activities at Rest Haven-York. The assistant helps plan and deliver activities suited to residents’ functional levels and care plans, while providing individual visits and supporting safe participation. The role contributes to residents’ engagement and well-being by tracking progress, coordinating supplies, and working with the care team.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing resident programs
• visit residents one-to-one for friendly visits, sensory stimulation, reality orientation, or leisure instruction
• meet needs outlined in care plans
• assess and report resident progress and maintain activity and visit records
• organize departmental supplies
• supervise and transport residents during activities
• participate in care plan meetings and assigned QAPI work.
