Certified Nursing Assistant – NOC and PM Shifts

The Certified Nursing Assistant – NOC and PM Shifts role is onsite in Palm Springs, CA. Pay is $22–$23 per hour, depending on experience. The position provides resident care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical/vocational nurse. The CNA supports residents’ daily care, safety, dignity, and independence by monitoring and recording health information, assisting with activities of daily living, and communicating changes to licensed nursing staff.

What you'll do

• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, fluid intake and output, and meal intake
• make routine rounds every two hours
• assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, eating, hydration, transfers, positioning, and skin care
• report changes in condition
• contribute to resident assessments and care plans
• provide restorative and dementia care
• protect resident rights and confidential information
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• transport residents to medical appointments.
