The SDSU Field Experience Intern placement is onsite in Sioux Falls, SD. This is an unpaid educational field experience, not an employment relationship. Active Generations supports adults through wellness programs, essential services, and community connections. The supervised placement gives a current SDSU student an opportunity to apply classroom learning while assisting with programs and activities serving older adults and the community. Specific duties, schedule, learning objectives, and duration are coordinated with SDSU and Active Generations.

What you'll do

• Observe and participate in assigned programs and departmental activities
• assist with program activities, participant engagement, outreach, special projects, or administrative tasks
• complete field experience learning objectives
• maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• follow policies and supervisor direction
• communicate with the assigned supervisor and accept feedback.
