What you'll do

• Responsible for performing CT procedures that are in accordance with standards and practice set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Hospital Policies and Procedures.
• Optimizes the use of radiation by utilizing the concepts of Image Gently and Image Wisely by the American College of Radiology.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the human structure and functions, patient care/safety, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection, medication safety (contrast) and specialized techniques.
• Maintains professional judgment and conduct that is complimentary of the ARRT Code of Ethics and St.
• David’s Healthcare Values.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology; and CT curriculum covering 3 semester hours of Sectional Anatomy; or 16 hours post graduate CEU’s Cross Sectional Anatomy

Experience

One year experience performing Computed Tomography procedures is preferred.
