American Sign Language Bilingual Caregiver / Direct Support Professional

The American Sign Language Bilingual Caregiver / Direct Support Professional role is onsite in clients’ homes and community settings in Eugene, OR, and pays $22–$24.50 per hour based on client care needs. The role provides person-centered support that helps clients with daily living, individualized goals, safety, and community participation. By encouraging independence and social inclusion, the Direct Support Professional contributes to clients’ development and meaningful engagement at home and in the community.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping while encouraging independence
• implement goals in Individual Support Plans
• support healthy routines and development
• accompany clients to outings, appointments, and errands
• provide transportation using a personal vehicle
• promote social inclusion
• ensure safety at home and in the community
• respond to medical or behavioral emergencies
• communicate with the administrative team
• and complete required documentation and reporting. Weekend availability is required.
