Direct Support Professional

What you'll do

• Provide support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship
• encourage independence, social engagement, and community participation
• implement individualized care plans and Behavioral Support Plans
• support individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
• accompany individuals to medical appointments, therapy, and community activities
• provide transportation as needed
• document services, progress notes, and goals
• maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies. Previous DSP experience is required
• experience with behavioral needs and BSPs is preferred. A valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and required background checks are required. Flexible scheduling is available.
