The Crew Lead, Roadway Maintenance role is based onsite at the North Gainesville, Florida office and pays $20 per hour. What you'll do

• Lead daily crew work and assign tasks
• conduct safety talks and job hazard analyses
• ensure traffic control and PPE requirements
• coach and train team members
• communicate with clients, inspectors, and the public
• perform and oversee vegetation, drainage, sign, fence, concrete, and asphalt maintenance
• manage traffic control
• respond to emergencies during scheduled on-call rotations
• inspect and maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools
• complete work orders and records.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, age 23 or older, and an active, unrestricted Florida driver’s license. Night, weekend, holiday, overtime, emergency, and on-call duties are part of the role; travel within the assigned district is required.
