The Electrical Systems Technician — Fire Alarm and Smart Security role is onsite in Falmouth, ME. Compensation is $35–$45 per hour. The position supports Cunningham Security’s residential and commercial security and fire systems projects. The technician installs, services, and troubleshoots electrical and low-voltage systems, including fire alarms, security, access control, and smart building infrastructure. The work helps deliver compliant, functioning systems while expanding the technician’s experience with integrated security and life-safety technology.

What you'll do

• Install and service electrical and low-voltage systems
• run, terminate, and test wiring for fire alarm, security, access control, and smart building systems
• diagnose and troubleshoot system issues
• complete upgrades, retrofits, and new installations
• read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• comply with NEC, OSHA, and local codes
• maintain safe, clean, organized job sites
• communicate with customers and internal teams.

Why this role

Requires an active Maine Journeyman or Master Electrician license, 3+ years of electrical installation experience, a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
