Telecommunications Engineer II, Mission-Critical Data Centers

The Telecommunications Engineer II role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with annual compensation of $90,640–$113,300. The position supports M.C. The engineer develops and coordinates structured cabling designs and constructible project deliverables, working with customers, project leaders, field teams, other trades, manufacturers, and fellow engineers. The role supports projects through design, installation, troubleshooting, and closeout while helping manage technical requirements, schedules, and budgets.

What you'll do

• Develop and coordinate telecommunications cabling, equipment, pathways, spaces, and grounding designs
• coordinate connectivity, space plans, and pathway designs with project stakeholders
• produce AutoCAD or REVIT drawings, specifications, cable run lists, test plans, product data, and bills of materials
• respond to RFIs
• conduct site surveys
• support quality control, troubleshooting, project schedules, and budgets
• contribute to active-system design.
