What you'll do

• Take medical histories and conduct nursing assessments
• make referrals to physicians, psychiatrists, or counseling staff
• note physician orders and assist with lab tests and physical exams
• order and administer prescribed medications according to unit policy
• participate in shift-change reports
• maintain client medical records
• oversee daily client activities and participate in clinical services
• act as shift supervisor for LPNs and Human Service Technicians in detox settings.
