Assistant Construction Project Manager

The Assistant Construction Project Manager role is primarily onsite in Plaistow, NH, with regular office and project-site presence and limited work-from-home flexibility. Pay is $50,000 per year. Build-It Construction delivers light commercial and residential design-build projects across Southern New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and parts of Massachusetts; its office is expected to relocate to Fremont, NH later this year. Working with the Project Manager, Drafter, and Superintendents, the assistant helps keep projects organized and moving forward. The role coordinates field logistics, documentation, materials, and project records to support timely completion, quality standards, and client expectations.

What you'll do

• Transport materials and miscellaneous items to job sites using a company vehicle
• assist with warehouse inventory and material organization
• support project documentation, including submittals, logs, permits, and drawing files
• visit project sites to assist Superintendents with organizing trades
• receive deliveries at job sites and the warehouse
• collect and file permits and track subcontractor permits, licenses, and safety documentation
• help draft billings
• review and format change requests
• maintain accurate records and respond promptly to requests.
