What you'll do

• Demonstrates knowledge of applying surgical gloves using aseptic technique and maintaining a sterile field.
• Prepares for surgery by pulling appropriate supplies and instruments.
• Understands surgical instruments and their applications.
• Displays knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.
• Maintains a safe sterile field.
• Assists a surgeon during a procedure.
• Closes a surgical site under physician supervision.
• Demonstrates a teamwork approach.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training

Experience

1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred
