Senior UX Designer – Design & Front-End Development (Hybrid)

The Senior UX Designer – Design & Front-End Development is a hybrid role based in Charlottesville, VA, with three days onsite each week and remaining days remote within Virginia. The salary range is $85,000–$105,000 per year. The role supports Crutchfield’s UX team across eCommerce websites and internal applications for the national online retailer. The position creates accessible, effective digital experiences by combining user experience design with front-end implementation. It translates customer research and business needs into designs and production-ready code, while collaborating with developers and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Partner with stakeholders, developers, researchers, strategists, and product experts
• create user flows, information architecture, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity Figma designs
• use research, usability testing, analytics, and feedback to inform decisions
• support usability testing
• implement designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• contribute production-ready front-end code
• evolve design systems and UX standards
• maintain responsive experiences
• advocate for accessibility
• facilitate design discussions and participate in Agile ceremonies
• document and communicate design decisions.
