What you'll do

• Direct daily shipping operations and department staff
• schedule assignments and train shipping associates
• monitor performance, accuracy, and productivity
• delegate work and adjust workloads
• assist with fleet routing and delivery needs
• respond to customer requests
• maintain shipping standards for accuracy, efficiency, safety, and service
• support continuous improvement and safety initiatives
• assist with hiring, retention, training, performance management, and corrective action
• provide backup to the Shipping Manager and Router.
