Billing Representative

Job overview

The Billing Representative role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with compensation of $23–$29 per hour. Pulmonary Medicine Associates serves patients in the greater Sacramento area through a practice with more than 80 providers and two outpatient clinic locations. This role supports the practice’s billing operations by researching claims, handling appeals and follow-up in Epic, and pursuing accounts until they have no balance or are referred for collection. It also assists with telephone inquiries, helping maintain accurate account resolution and responsive service.

What you'll do

• Research claims, appeals, and related follow-up using Epic EMR
• follow up on accounts until no balance remains or the account is turned over for collection
• assist with answering the telephone and providing requested information

Why this role
