The role supports patient stabilization and safety through interdisciplinary coordination, accurate electronic health record documentation, and education and emotional support for patients and families.

What you'll do

• Assess critically ill patients, including neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, and hemodynamic status
• monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings, oxygenation, and invasive lines
• administer and titrate IV medications per protocol and provider orders
• manage lines, tubes, drains, and airway devices
• provide ventilator management in collaboration with respiratory therapy
• respond to acute changes and initiate emergency interventions
• develop and evaluate care plans
• document care in the EHR
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• provide patient and family education and emotional support
• follow evidence-based practice, infection control, and patient safety standards.
