The Accountant role is onsite in Tacoma and Fife, WA. The hiring range is $65,668.60–$80,168.40 per year. The accountant supports multiple Tribal healthcare entities by maintaining accurate, compliant, and transparent financial operations. The role handles payroll, payables, receivables, reconciliations, reporting, and budget and grant-compliance reviews to support sound organizational decisions.

What you'll do

• Process bi-weekly payroll, verify timesheets, resolve payroll issues, and report retirement contributions
• monitor ACA compliance and maintain reporting records
• process accounts payable and receivable
• monitor cash and complete monthly reconciliations
• prepare general ledger entries and periodic accounting reports
• review purchase requisitions for budget availability, grant compliance, and organizational guidelines
• respond to accounting-related inquiries.
