Lead Carpenter

The Lead Carpenter role is onsite in Kansas City, MO, with pay of $28–$32 per hour. The position supports residential remodeling projects at Schloegel Design Remodel, a Kansas City remodeling company with more than 45 years in business. The lead carpenter owns day-to-day job-site coordination and performs rough and finish carpentry as needed. The role keeps projects moving through scheduling, trade coordination, homeowner communication, problem solving, and attention to craftsmanship and safety.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day job-site work
• serve as the primary homeowner contact during construction
• oversee project progress and perform rough and finish carpentry as needed
• manage schedules with Project Directors
• coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and in-house team members
• review plans, selections, change orders, materials, and upcoming work
• maintain craftsmanship, safety, cleanliness, security, and home-protection standards
• keep project information and documentation current in Buildertrend.
