What you'll do

• Document medical records in SOAP format and ensure entries are timed, legible and signed
• countersign verbal or telephone orders within 72 hours
• follow the approved formulary and document non-formulary requests
• use in-house resources before off-site referrals
• provide on-site emergency treatment and respond to urgent situations
• support medical-care policies
• provide guidance to personnel
• attend required meetings and requested in-service education and chart reviews
• sponsor Physician Assistants as required
• notify leadership of schedule changes and assist with coverage arrangements.
