The CNC Lathe or Mill Set-Up/Operator role is onsite in Milpitas, CA, with compensation of $20–$45 per hour. B&Z Manufacturing Company has served clients in precision manufacturing for more than 66 years. This operator runs and maintains multiple CNC lathes or vertical mills and supports accurate prototype and production work. The role also includes blueprint interpretation, material cutting, deburring, coolant upkeep, job tracking, and maintaining a safe, orderly work area.

What you'll do

• Load, run, and maintain multiple CNC lathes or vertical mills
• use machines with Fanuc-style controls
• read blueprints and apply GD&T
• cut material on a horizontal band saw
• lightly deburr machined parts
• maintain coolant levels and skim tramp oils
• keep equipment and storage areas clean and safe
• use job travelers and barcode tracking.
