What you'll do

• Implement established lesson plans and developmentally appropriate learning activities.
• Facilitate stories, art, music and movement, sensory exploration, outdoor play, and other hands-on learning experiences.
• Support children’s cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Adapt to different classrooms, age groups, schedules, and instructional needs.
• Maintain established classroom routines and provide smooth transitions between activities.
• Provide attentive supervision during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, snacks, rest periods, and transitions.
• Assist with handwashing, toileting, diapering, feeding, and other age-appropriate personal-care routines as needed.
• Respond promptly and compassionately to each child’s physical and emotional needs.
• Create classroom resources and maintain a physical environment that supports safe exploration and learning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom, including the regular cleaning of toys and learning materials.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leaders to provide a consistent and positive student experience.
• Communicate professionally with families regarding classroom activities and daily routines.
• Follow all school policies and applicable licensing requirements related to health, safety, sanitation, and student supervision.
